In ancient times, India had more than 6,100 varieties of indigenous rice seeds. Over the years, these valuable native rice varieties gradually disappeared. Each indigenous rice variety possesses unique medicinal properties, rich nutrients, and significant health benefits. That is why people in earlier generations, who consumed such rice, lived healthy lives with greater longevity, free from lifestyle diseases and hereditary disorders.

However, in present times, agriculture has turned into a commercial industry. As a result, agricultural scientists have developed high-yield, fine-grain rice varieties, and farmers began cultivating them. With people increasingly consuming chemically grown, polished, and fast-cooking rice, many are falling victim to various diseases at a very young age.

In this situation, the APR Vedic Farms team, along with health experts, doctors, agricultural scientists, and farmers who have deep knowledge of indigenous rice varieties, initiated an important mission.

That mission is:
